About Fishfest

Fishman Productions, Ltd. announced the launch of*F I S H FEST. Fishman Productions, Ltd paired up with key distribution companies to create FishFest, the first film festival primarily aimed at finding distribution for Independent Films. The entire arduous process of completing independent films, is dwarfed by the task of actually finding distribution or representation. The average film festival route holds out hope that distribution may follow, F I S H FEST is designed solely for independent Films and primarily to achieve distribution. F I S H FEST is not a critic’s review or self adulation. This is the pairing of distribution executives, Agents, and Development Executives with unknown independent filmmakers. There will be awards handed out by a panel of judges from distribution and production companies; but mostly there will be specific distribution deals awarded to Independent Filmmakers. F I S H FEST has arranged distribution deals for selected (winning) entries. Entries will include short and full length features; as well as, a literary competition looking to setup winning scripts at production companies and studios. There will be one-on-one opportunities with the executives important to your project and the type of schmooze that only inside industry events can bring. Submissions are currently being accepted.
